LITANY OF THANKSGIVING
Father, you bless us with the gift of life. R. *Father, we give you thanks.
You gave us your Son as our Savior. R. *
You teach us His word of life. R. *
You make us your holy people. R. *
You cleanse us from our sins. R. *
You gave us Mary as our mother and our model. R. *
You invite us to love you by loving others. R. *
You help us to do good works for you. R. *
You nourish us with the Bread of Life. R. *
You give us the cup of salvation. R. *
You have given us your Holy Spirit. R. *
You promise us the joys of heaven. R. *
You call us to sing your praises Forever. R. *
Beloved God, you have given us all grace and life through the hands of Christ our Savior.
With Jesus, we bless your name. With Him we thank you.
With Christ our Lord, we pray to you:
Our Father, in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done, on earth as It is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but, deliver us from evil. Amen
(Think of what Christ suffered in this life, and then arm yourselves with the same resolution that He had: anyone who in this life has bodily
suffering has broken with sin, because for the rest of his life on earth he is not ruled by human passions but only by the will of God.)(1 Peter 4: 1-2)
