Happy ST. Valentine’s Day

Dear Divine Will Family,
Mark Mallett has written a wonderful and very timely article on the times we are living in and the times that are coming. I am adding a link to this email hoping that those who do not receive his emails, will take a look at this one which is so well written and is so true.
We are coming into some very trying times, which we have been expecting and for which we have even been awaiting, with some anxiousness. Mark explains these times so well that for me to try and explain them seems useless.

What I would like to explain is that these times which are coming may call for martyrdom from some souls. What an honor to be called to give your life for God!! But, can we really face death without some trepidation and fear? We can if we are detached from all that the earth holds dear to us, and especially from ourselves. Jesus teaches Luisa that we must be detached from everything to even live in His Holy Will, so we should have been practicing this virtue for as long as we have been striving to live in the Divine Will. To get dominion over our own wills is the great secret that detaches us from even our own desire, preferences and wants.
Lent is here!! This is the perfect time to really practice detachment….want a snack, offer it up to live more deeply in the Divine Will and to get that much more dominion over your human will. Want to watch your favorite TV show…do the same. Give up, give up, give up! This is the perfect time to practice giving up the things we are attached to for the love of God, to live more deeply in His Holy Will and to get more dominion over our own human wills! It will be so worth it in the end and your relationship with God will grow exponentially!!
For Lent, I would like to send you things that will help you practice the short list that I sent in my last email: Rapid Growth in the Divine Will. This is the long list which goes with the 30 bullet points. I will send a few about three times a week to give you time to really study them and put them into practice! Let make this Lent well worth our time for the glory of our Heavenly Father, for His Kingdom to come, for the Sanctification of all souls and to get more dominion over our own human wills! Let end Lent living in the Divine Will in a more profound way and with much less of ourselves in the mix!
And if God does call on us to be a martyr for His Kingdom to come, then it will be a very easy decision and one filled with the joy of knowing that you will be with Jesus and Mary very shortly….and all the other beloved souls who lived in the Divine Will, but who have gone to their immense reward! Remember, you don’t just go to Heaven, you will go to live in the very Center of the Most Holy Trinity, Itself! Who can even comprehend this??

Remember also, that David Russell, a true lover of the Divine Will, will be holding the Consecration to St. Joseph on his podcasts beginning tomorrow. Detachment!!
Volume 1 (No date)
I want your will to be completely surrendered to Mine in perfect detachment from all things—so that you regard all earthly things as rubbish and dung. Even if you are not attached to earthly things, the mere thought and spectacle of them obscures the thought of heavenly things and frustrates the fulfillment of [living in My Will]…..

Volume 11
August 20, 1913
One who lives in the Divine Will must have trust, simplicity and detachment in giving herself unreservedly to all. Her life and her work are ended, because the Divine Will consecrates her and transubstantiates her.
While I was praying, I saw my always adorable Jesus within me, and many souls around me, who were saying: “Lord, You have given everything to this soul!” And stretching their hands toward me, they said: “Since Jesus is in you, and all his goods are with Him, take them and give them to us.” I was deeply confused, and blessed Jesus told me: “My daughter, my Will contains every possible blessing and the soul who lives in my Will needs to act with confidence, conducting herself as co-heir with Me of all I possess. Creatures expect everything from this soul, and if they don’t receive it, they feel cheated. But how can she give so much if she does not work united with Me in complete confidence? That is why the soul who lives in my Will needs trust in giving, simplicity in communicating herself to all, and detachment from herself, so that she can live completely for Me and for her neighbor. And that is how I am.”

April 1, 1916
One who really loves Jesus and does his Will forms one single heartbeat with Him. To achieve this, however, the soul must be stripped of everything.
“But, my daughter, what detachment is required to be the echo of my heartbeat! One must live a life more of Heaven than of earth—more Divine than human! Even one shadow, one tiny thing suffices to keep the soul from feeling the strength, the harmonies, and the sanctity of my Heartbeat; so that she no longer echoes my Heartbeat, nor harmonizes with Me, and I am forced to remain alone in my sorrow and in my joys.

Volume 19
“Now, My daughter, when I came upon the earth, creatures were completely illiterate about heavenly things; and, if I had wanted to speak about the Fiat and about living in It, they would have been incapable of understanding it. And if they did not know the way to come to Me, it was because most of them were lame, blind, and sick; and I had to lower Myself to allow the stripping of My Humanity which covered that Fiat that I wanted to give, so as to fraternize with them, and to associate myself with everyone, so as to be able to teach the first rudiments, the a,b,c’s of the Supreme Fiat. And all that I taught, did and suffered was done simply to prepare the way, the Kingdom and the dominion of My Will.
This is the way We usually do Our works: Carrying out the minor things as a preparation for the greater ones. Did I not do the same with you? Certainly, I did not speak to you in the beginning of the Supreme Fiat, or of the heights of sanctity that I wanted you to reach in My Will. Nor did I speak one word to you about the exalted mission to which I have called you. But I treated you like a little baby, in whom I took My delight by teaching you obedience, the love of suffering, detachment from everything, and death to your own ego; and, as you paid attention, I rejoiced, because I saw a place prepared in you where I could plant My Fiat and the sublime lessons that I wanted to teach you about My Will.
