The Great Prophecy in the Lord’s Prayer

Its Fulfillment is Now Underway!

“Our Father. . . Thy Kingdom Come; Thy Will be done on Earth as It is in Heaven”

Not long before Jesus died on the Cross for us, He said to the Apostles, “. . . Pray like this: Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come.  Thy Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven. . .” The Apostles taught this prayer to others, and it has been prayed by the faithful for 2000 years.

Therefore, it seems that it would be good for the followers of Jesus to know more about this Prayer of Our Lord and what He expected when He taught it to us through his Apostles.

Let us consider some points about this most special prayer and whatwas in the Mind of Our Lord when He taught this prayer.

Act Done in the Divine Will

+When a person gives his will to Jesus in order to live in His, Jesus in turn gives His Will to that person. But before His Will gives Itself to that person, It pours Itself into that person’s act to form its day, to sanctify it, embellish it, insert Its celestial joys, and then It locks Itself inside that person’s act.

As the Divine Fiat operates in that person’s act, all created things receive a renewed life in the beauty, love and joy of their very Creator, and as the person does his act—now divine—that act remains as his own, and all become attentive to see what that person intends to do with that act, since it encloses everything, and everyone feels enclosed in that act. Pearls of the New and Divine Holiness

+

our sweet mother in contemplation
Here is this week’s Pearl of the New and Divine Holiness. As always, read these lines carefully and prayerfully in the Divine Will to absorb as much light as one can:

A Few Extracts from Luisa’s Writings about Calling the Divine Will in What We Do

Jesus to Luisa:  Just as the second FIAT called Me upon earth to live among men, the third FIAT will call my Will into souls, and It will reign in them “on earth, as in Heaven.”

With your love, and with your continuous dissolving of yourself in my Volition, you will call my Will to have life on earth within you—and then you will give Me life in other creatures.

As you call my Will into yourself, this too is a unique act, and that is why, to respect the dignity of my Will which must dwell in you, I must pour into you so much love and grace, as to make you surpass all other creatures. And since my Will has supremacy over all, and is eternal, infinite and immense, I must communicate this to the soul in whom the Life of my Will must have its beginning and its fulfillment–endowing and enriching her with the very qualities of my Will, making her supreme over all. My Eternal Volition will take the past, the present and the future; It will reduce them to one single point, and It will pour them into you. My Will is eternal, and It wants to have life there where It finds eternity. It is immense and wants life in the immensity. It is infinite, and wants to find infinity. How can I find all this, if I do not first pour it into you?

My daughter, as the creature calls My Will in his acts and his prayers, It repeats that act and prays together with the creature. Since It is found everywhere with Its immensity, the sun, the wind, the sky, the Angels and Saints, and all creation feel within them the power of the creative prayer, and they all pray. This prayer is all-powerful in its wonders. It includes everyone and is given to everyone. Only the ungrateful person who does not wish to receive it is unaffected by it.

My Will possesses the power of prayer. And oh, how beautiful it is to see My Will praying in Its divine way and with Its creative power is imposed on everyone and makes everyone pray! This prayer is imposed on Our divine attributes and brings down a rain of mercy, graces, forgiveness, and love. The simple fact that it is Our prayer means that it can give everything.

The Divine Will Opens the Flow between Heaven and Earth and Transforms a Soul into a Receptacle of Celestial Goods.

My ever lovable Jesus continues speaking to me of his Most Holy Will. He truly resembles a Master who, seeming to have exhausted all topics that He wishes to teach his disciple, is in fact only taking a pause for rest. He then continues with lessons ever more sublime, which enrapture the disciple and engender in him greater love and veneration. So it was when Jesus came and said to me:

“My daughter, how many prodigies are contained within my Supreme Will as It acts in creatures! When a soul calls my Will into herself, and she in turn enters my Will and lets my Will act in all her acts, even the most insignificant, a current is established.

The First Fiat of God

CREATION

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
he created him; male and female he created them.

And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
(Genesis 1)

The LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
(Genesis 2)

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband, and he ate. Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons.
(Genesis 3)

When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created. (Before Original Sin)
When Adam had lived a hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
(After Original Sin, Man lost his pristine Likeness to God, and his Image of God was dimmed and distorted.)
(Genesis 5)

WHAT FOLLOWS IS BASED UPON THE BOOK OF HEAVEN BY LUISA PICCARRETA

God made the universe to serve as a dwelling place for man, and man’s soul was made to serve as dwelling place for God. One day Luisa Piccarreta was thinking about God’s great love as He was forming the body of Adam before the infusion of Adam’s soul into that body. She realized that God loved Adam before he existed, and that as God was forming Adam’s body, He loved him with a love like that a father has for his newly born child. Responding to her thoughts, Jesus explained to Luisa that while the Holy Trinity was forming man’s body, and before beathing life into him, They behaved as parents do with their sleeping child. Full of tenderness and love, they kiss him and hold him tightly to their bosom; and all the while the sleeping child knows nothing of this. The Holy Trinity, enraptured with irrepressible love, gave many, many hugs and kisses to Adam’s body even before giving him his soul, and They provided warmth for his body by the breath and palpitating heart that They created for him. Jesus continued speaking to Luisa and told her that the Divine Will is the revealer of the work of Creation, and that the Divine Will alone can let man know the secrets of Divine Love hidden in Creation.

He told Luisa that Adam didn’t know everything and didn’t know how many ingenuities and loving touches that the Holy Trinity used in creating his body and his soul, and that as Adam’s life began to unfold, They, little by little, gave him surprises, letting him know how much They loved him and how many secret kisses They had given him.But later, Jesus told Luisa that Adam withdrew from Their Will and by doing so he lost the revealer. As a result of his losing the revealer those who came after Adam and Eve never knew how much the Holy Trinity loved him and the so many things They did for him when They created him.

Before creating Adam, the Blessed Trinity looked at the whole Creation, and bursting with love They exclaimed, “How very beautiful are Our works—but We will make man the most beautiful of all creatures!” And They concentrated everything in him and found Creation within and around him, enclosing in him the sky of reason, the sun of intelligence, the swiftness of wind in the thought, the extension of space and dominion in the will, motion in the soul, where They placed the sea of Grace, the heavenly air of Divine Love, and all the senses of the body and exclaimed, “O man, how beautiful you are!” But, not ready to stop, the Holy Trinity infused within this first man the great Sun of their Divine Will and gave him the grand gift of speech, enabling him with words and deeds to be the eloquent herald of his Creator. And seized by so exhuberant a love for him that the immensity of the Blessed Trinity engaged him everywhere and in every instant. Their all-seeingness found him in everything.

Their power sustained him and brought him everywhere. Their life and motion beat in his heart, breathed in his breath, worked in his hands and walked in his feet. With infinite wisdom, They poured out Their love, Their power, Their Will in him and didn’t want anything in return except that he would love Them and would freely live in Their Will, recognizing how much They have loved him and what They have done for him. Man had always been the ideal of the Blessed Trinity. Man would be the place where They would unfold Their creative work, Their life and Their eternal love. This is the work of divine incomprehensibility, unknown and not understood by humans, who are incapable of explaining it. These are ancient, heavenly mysteries—hidden secrets known only to God the Holy Trinity, before which man must bow in adoration to Their incomprehensible Being. The story of God’s love for man even before creating him is astonishing. The Adorable Majesty of the Holy Trinity wanted to establish man as king of the all Creation by granting him dominion over everything and lord of all Their works.

This would require Them to endow man in such a way as to posssess within himself everything that They had spread out in Creation. Thus, the vocation of man to be king of the skies, the sun, the wind, the sea and all else would require him to possess within himself a sky, a sun, etc., so that Creation would be reflected in him and he would be reflected in Creation and be its lord as God had intended. Man could not be such a king and lord if he had no eye full of light to enjoy and take as much of the light of the sun as he wished, or if he had no hands or feet to allow him to walk the earth and take what it produces, or if he were without lungs to breathe the air, and so on with the rest of his faculties. By not living in the Divine Will, man puts into disorder all the acts that God had ordered in him from eternity.

God loved Himself in man and loved the continuous series of His acts that were to be done in man. And when God brought man into existence in time, He wanted man to be in full accord with what God had done. But such capability in man required him to possess the Divine Will which would give him the divine virtue to do in time what had been confirmed and done without him in eternity by the most Holy and Adorable Trinity. The whole human problem began when Adam withdrew himself and humanity from possession of the Divine Will and Its single act which formed the real, not mystical, Life of the Holy Trinity in him as in Heaven.

He lost a Gift that was Divine, and a Divine Redeemer would have to restore It to humanity, which the Incarnate Word did 2000 years ago. Then Jesus prayed for that restored Gift—the possession and life of the Father’s Kingdom—to come. And indeed, It has come with the life of Luisa Piccarreta, whose writings in the Book of Heaven provide the knowledge of It and how to take possession of It and live in It, thus, finally solving the human problem in a new era soon to come in the Third Christian Millenium for those who want It.
